Thanks BtB. I think next week should go better on squats. I'll see how another 10 pound bump feels, but I'm closing in on weights I've never done for more than a single. I like it.

Thanks Ravi!

Great day today. The Volatile is working nicely for me, good intra-lift recovery

Bench
Bar x 5
95 x 5
135 x 5
185 x 3 - felt heavy
225 x 1 - not as bad
255 x 1 - PR weight not bad at all
225 x 3
225 x 3
225 x 3
225 x 3
225 x 1 - bad setup
225 x 3
225 x 3
225 x 0 felt way too heavy in my hands, like I would bork my shoulder if I tried it

Medium Grip Lat Pulldown - these were way better than they had been, felt them in my lats. Thanks to Steve for some pointers.
55 x 10
100 x 12
100 x 12
100 x 12

Kroc Chins
BW x 10
Ok, so Kroc chins are kind of a joke, I know. But they do stretch out my back nicely

Brute Press
50 x 3
60 x 7
60 x 5
60 x 3

What is the Brute Press you ask? Clean the DB into the top position, then press with no leg drive. 1 arm at a time. Torso movement is fine.

DB Curl - PRs on curls make me feel awkward.
45 x 10
45 x 7
45 x 5 -> + 4 reps from last week

Thanks! And I can't wait till Christmas then!

Good session today. Form improved a lot.

Deadlifts
135 x 7
225 x 5
315 x 3
365 x 1
415 x 6 triples - reps 15, 17 ,18 were tough

Squat - high ba5. 5th rep went bad each time. hit depth, but lost back arch and goodmorninged the weight
Bar x 6
135 x 5
135 x 3
135 x 3 - working on keeping the back tight and pushing the legs out
185 x 3
225 x 5
225 x 5
225 x 5
225 x 1 - just to get ATG

DB Snatch - new progression rules today. been aimless lately with it, I like the new decision
50 x 2
65 x 2
75 x 2
decided to do 10 with no rest between reps. when i make it to 10, up the weight (note 10 is 5 per arm, and I am now listing total reps each time rather than just per arm for this lift)
75 x 10

Finito! (Catch 22 anyone?) but seriously, got my heart rate up and had a good time with decent weight

Thanks BtB! I'll keep doing it. Progression, patience, but not complacency.

Great day today. Good progress on everything.

Push Press
Bar x 10
95 x 5
135 x 3
155 x 1
170 x 5 triples + 5 pounds from last week. 15th rep tough

Cable Row -> new grip on this today. Really felt my back working finally. lightened up on the weight to get my form better. progression starts here.
45 x 7
60 x 10
60 x 10
60 x 8 + 2 that were a little iffy

DB Bench -> dropped back to 80 pounds to make sure I really could hit 20+ reps with it
50 x 5
70 x 3
80 x 9
80 x 7
80 x 6 -> 22 reps. try 85 again next time around

Hammer Curl
45 x 10
45 x 8
45 x 5 + 5 reps from last week
