Squats Warm Up-60x10 Working Sets-80x5, 85x5, 100x5 Flat DB Bench Warm Up-20x10 Working Sets-30x5, 35x5, 40x5 Deadlift Warm Up-75x10 Working Sets-90x5, 100x5, 110x5 Pretty much same thing as last workout. This workout took exactly 30 mins like last one and this one was also very light and I had a nice sweat going too. Only real difference was I reduced the number of reps on the warm up sets and added more weight to my lifts. Still nothing crazy, can't wait to start lifting big weight (for me lol) soon! Lata! |

Didn't post up my diet yesterday but it was pretty much the same as the other days. I will probably stop posting each night about my diet but I will continue to post my weight. I don't think too many of you are interested in my diet everyday lol but don't worry I'll continue to eat well and hopefully my weight will show that in this log.
Weighed in at 140.2 this morning but I'm about to head to bed, had a nice long day today. Another workout tomorrow so talk then. Night! |

I weighed in at 140.2 again this morning. First week of workouts all done. This workout was just like the other ones, 30 mins and very light all around...
Squats Warm Up-65x10 Working Sets-85x5, 90x5, 105x5 Flat DB Bench Warm Up-20x10 Working Sets-40x5, 40x5, 40x5 Deadlift Warm Up-95x8 Working Sets-105x5, 110x5, 115x5 Nothing really to say about this one just a nice good feeling workout, nice sweat and all. Next week will probably be my last week of conditioning for this routine. After next week I'm upping the weight on squats/deadlifts around 50 pounds or so and for the flat DB bench I'll leave that around the same because I'm not too sure where I'm at with that lift because it's my first time ever really using flat DB bench in my routine. I weighed in at 140.6 (7/19), then 140.8(7/20), now today 140.8.
I worked out a little later in the day today and my workout went as followed... Squats Warm Up-70x10 Working Sets-90x5, 95x5, 115x5 Flat DB Bench Warm Up-20x12 Working Sets-42.5x5, 42.5x5, 42.5x5 Deadlift Warm Up-105x8 Working Sets-115x5, 120x5, 125x5 Everything was light, nice, and easy like all the other workouts. I had a nice sweat and all going. This workout only took 22 mins instead of 30 mins like before. Not sure if my body handles working out better later on in the day or if I'm just about ready to start lifting heavier weights. I'll montior working out in the day vs later on in the day. I also was lifting on some what of an empty stomach even though I had a meal before I lifted, it was fairly light and I waited around 2.5-3 hours. Will see what happens in the future but either way another workout down. Have a good night all! |

I weighed in at 141.8 (7/22), then today 142. Workout was again later in the day and I think I like this a lot better but will see how it continues to progress. Workout was as followed...
Squats Warm Up-75x10 Working Sets-95x5, 100x5, 120x5 Flat DB Bench Warm Up-20x12 Working Sets-45x5, 45x5, 45x5 Deadlift Warm Up-105x8 Working Sets-120x5, 125x5, 130x5 This workout was only 18 mins so they seem to be getting faster. Had a nice sweat/heart rate for this one. One workout left for the conditioning phase. Night! |

Squats Warm Up-80x10 Working Sets-100x5, 105x5, 125x5 Flat DB Bench Warm Up-20x12 Working Sets-47.5x5, 47.5x5, 47.5x5 Deadlift Warm Up-110x8 Working Sets-125x5, 130x5, 135x5 This was the last workout for the 2 weeks I wanted to condition myself. This workout was only 20 mins and everything was the same as the others. Next workout I will really ramp up the weights as much as I feel comfortable to do and also I will be doing 6 sets in total including one warm up set for each movement. Will see how this routine works for me! Also one more thing to add is I'm purchasing some power hooks for my flat db bench. I think this will help me so I don't have to wrestle the dumbbells up to me. Good Night! |
