Great work! OH PRs are awesome!

Even better is surviving that episode in the woods. Holy Moly it's the weirdest stuff sometimes, good thing it seems like it left you none the worse for wear.

If you really are feeling it too much on the bench sets, can you just reset it to 5-10 pounds less and build some momentum going forward again? Or take a week off benching altogether? Or even switch to another exercise like Inclines for a couple weeks then go back to benching?

Seems like you've been doing this program a long time too, maybe switch it up a little?

Awesome stuff T! You'll get where you want to be soon enough.

All good ideas Mike! Probably wouldn't hurt to switch for a month or so.

Default 11 February 2013

No squats last Friday. I decided to leave the hip alone and let it heal, so I consider it a planned day off. Hip is feeling much better now, so I'm ready to squat come Friday.

Today:
SDS4DS - Phase 2 - Week 3 - Chest and Triceps - Strength
Bench Press - 215x3-3-3-3-3
DB Bench Press- 60x10-10-8
Dips- BW+10x5-5-5-5-5

Good effort today. Was right pleased at getting ll the bench reps this time. Butt came off the bench for a few reps, but not much. I felt much stronger and confident with it today.

Dips were deep. Hopefully I'll get those last two DB reps next time.

Ah well, sometimes that butt has to come up in the name of progress. Well done TB.

Nice benching!

Smart move on the hip. Squats are abd enough on their own, don't need to going into that banged up to boot!

Good stuff, T-B.
