Have you considered the home gym route? I know it's not for everyone and isn't always feasible, but it is a valid alternative to the bass ackwards commercial gym.

That's all she wrote. Felt strong and the reps came easy enough on deads. Lower back feeling really stiff right now though.

Thoroughly spent!
Great effort!

I am not a powerlifter nor am I a bodybuilder. I just want to be big and strong.

Thanks Josh, and yes, I started in my home gym. The cost doesn't phase me too much as the long-run savings would more than make up for it. If I go that route I would have to find a rack that will fit in my basement. The ceilings are not very high.

SDS4DS - Phase 2 - Week 1 - Shoulders and Biceps - Density
OHP - 100x3-3-3-4-5-6-5 (29)
Arnold Press - 45x7-5-3-4-4-5-6 (34)
DB Incline Curl - 35x8-8-6

Could have gotten another rep on OHP but a PT who was training a client next to me nearly sideswiped me mid lift, so I put it down , cursed her under my breath and did one more.

Arnold's felt good and my shoulders were loosened up.

Upped the weight for curls.

Inclines are where its at. Would have been funny if you said, "Next time you get a hundred pounds dropped on you."

SDS4DS - Phase 2 - Week 1 - Legs - Strength
Squat - 285x3-3-3-3-3
GMs - 170x10-10-10 (PR)
Standing Calf Raise - 325x5-5-5-5-5

Anyone want some Fried Ham? Cuz I'm gonna have plenty this weekend thanks to the Good Mornings! Whew!

Stellar day in my opinion. Had PT gauge my depth on squats and she assured me I was parallel. Right on! Not a PR but a good sign I'm back on track.

WOOT!

She knew she'd pissed me off, but it's a relatively small gym and wasn't going to create a scene.
