Sorry this is a few days late. This was a mediocre workout. I guess they can't all be blockbusters
BB Bench 185x12, 195x10, 205x7, 215x4 DB Bench 55x12, 60x10, 65x8 Incline cable crossovers 12.5x12,12,9 Skullcrushers 55x10, 60x4, 55x7 (this does not including the weight of the olympic ez curl bar.) 2 hand seated overhead db extension 65x12,70x7,65x8 Cable Pushdown 120x15, 125x12, 130x10 Rotator Cuff Exercises 3x12x3 Overall Workout Rating: C+ Nothing really improved from last week and I actually lost a few reps on the bb bench, skullcrushers and db extensions. I attribute it to a change in sleep patterns because the night before I was at the birthing center until 2 in the morning. Here is a link to the rotator cuff routine I am using: Rotator Cuff Strengthening Exercises All lifts are measured in lbs. I forget that many people here are across the pond. |

Been off for a week hanging out with my fiancee and my baby boy. His name is Grant and he was born 6:14am May 24th. He weighed 7lbs 12oz and was 20 inches long. I'm a proud papa to say the least.
Made it to the gym this afternoon. Dropped the weight a few pounds on my lifts to get back in the swing of things. Also dropped calves and ab work because I wanted to get home. Legs Squat 235lbsx5,5,5,5 Went well. Dropping the weight a bit allowed me to reassess my form. Leg press 460lbsx10,10,10 Romanians 155x8,8,8,8 Overall workout grade: B Despite the decrease in load and volume I felt it was a very good workout. It really allowed me to kind of slow down my reps and re-enforce some good habits. And most importantly, it was fun and I left feeling good. |
