By weight do you mean body weight, or bench press weight?
My body weight has went up, but my body composition has changed for the good as well.
I meant body weight/composition.

It's amazing how this changes when you're just busting balls in the gym. But you know on the forums the young guys often have no concept of what this means so when they ask about gaining muscle and losing fat at the same time there's nothing you can really say. Getting it done in the gym is so rare.

I'm not trying to sit on some high horse by saying this. It's just that, when someone is busting nuts in the gym like you, almost nothing is impossible with regards to body composition.

Thanks Steve. I take this as a huge compliment.
And yeah, you are speaking the truth. If one truly put in the effort with the weights, within the limits of a natural lifter, and one will see results.
You said it well.
Not trying to go off on a rant, but effort and progression work wonders for anyone, combined with decent rest and a hearty, yet "reasonable" (not perfect) diet.

Weightlifting, as complex as it can be, does have some simple truths that for some reason often go under emphasized. What you are saying in the post above is one of them.

So, I have officially decided to put this routine on the shelf. My body is telling me it's time for a change.
After approx 19 weeks of my Legs/Push/Pull routine, I am very happy to say that I have achieved some great results both in strength and lean body mass. This was a great routine and a great experience.
Overall, I can confidently say that this is the best all around routine I have ever put together myself. It is the culmination of personal experience and the shared experience and knowledge of others. This routine is something I am very proud of.
I want to thank everyone who took the time to post in my log words of advice and encouragement. Starting a log here has been a great experience.
I will certainly use this routine again in the future and invite others who maybe interested to give it a shot.

Good stuff Josh It'sbeen a pleasure to be able to read a journal of yours. I always keep learning new things, and receive reminders of how things should be done, here in your log.

I hope you will be continuing to log your new routine here.

Will you be able to post up your routine here as well? I am intererested in it.

I know you've already seen my new log, but just in case, I'll be doing Madcow's 5x5.
