Also have put on around 2 pounds since I hace been home and it aint looking like bad weight! Time to go eat more animals!

Squats
131x5 164x5 197x5 226x5 259x5 Bench 107x5 131x5 153x5 175x5 202x5 Rows 85x5 107x5 131x5 153x5 175x5 Assistance Seated Good Mornings 85x8 85x8 Weighted Sit Ups 22x17 22x17 22x17 22x17 Overall good workout, Bench and Rows felt great with good form. Thed last set of squats i felt like my form kind of fell apart. Felt like i wasnt going as low and like i couldnt get myself to down past parallel. Gonna get my dad to help me with my form on wednesday and may keep this weight for fridays triple just to try and keep my form good.

I changed the squats to the same as mondays rather then the 4 set of 5 with the 3rd and 4th sets as the same weight. I was lifting with my dad and wanted him to see what was going wrong with my form or my depth as these felt bad on monday. Anyway just squatted away and nothing went wrong and the weight felt way better, not so much on the lower back and felt it more in the legs.
Squats 131x5 164x5 197x5 226x5 259x5 Overhead Press 74x5 85x5 101x5 120x5 PR (could not rep this out a few weeks ago when i tested my 5rep max) Deadlift 186x5 210x5 254x5 300x5 PR Assistance Pull ups (BW) 10,7,7 Planks 65 seconds on 30 sec rest x3 Felt great lifting with my dad today. It was good to get the 45's on the overhead press and kept it strict too, no leg drive. Deadlifts were awesome. Was just going to increase all my sets by 11 pounds but on the last set my dad put the bar up on the pins and tossed on another plate. Repped these out and felt strong cant wait to smash these again next wednesday. Overall excellent workout would have to give it an A+. Love working out with my dad. Keeps me on track with resting and its just getting down to work when he is out there. Got a long way to go to catch him on strength but I'm gonna give it a go.

Nice lifting. Won't be as long as you think until you catch your dad. (Er.. he's not Zydrunas Savikas is he... ?)
Stick to good form and consistent effort and you'll be jacking monster weights before you know it. Nice program too. Interesting. Kill it. |
