Well, I really fubar-ed this one.
My squat workout from Saturday is still kicking my butt big time. My hamstrings and butt are so sore I can barely squat down to the royal throne. I skipped my hypertrophy workout on Sunday, and chilled. But today...is deadlift day. Not sure what I'm going to do.

The soreness is starting to get better. I think I'll be able to deadlift without any issues. I have some minor, lingering butt soreness. As long as my hammies and back are good - and they are - my old body will rock it.

09/08/2009: Deadlift Day
Workout Time: 46 minutes Workout Grade: B+ Notes: I missed my hypertrophy workout on Sunday. Not due to laziness, or personal issues. I simply couldn't walk. My Saturday squat-fest killed me. It left me sore beyond belief. This morning, I still felt iffy about today's workout. My hammies and butt were still a little sore. But, my 3pm I felt 95%, so I went for it. I felt good throughout the deadlifts. then when I started front squatting, my hammies started to remind me they were still a little sore. I survived, and powered through my sumo deadlifts. Sweating. Strong. And with a back pump. I am using a modified Doug Hepburn rep/set scheme on primary lift exercises. Deadlifts 375 (75%) x 12 (1 minute rest between reps) Front Squats (2 minute rest between sets) 185 x 7 185 x 6 185 x 6 Sumo Deadlifts (1 minute rest between reps) 375 (75%) x 5 Weighted Sit-ups 25lbs x 12 25lbs x 12 25lbs x 10
