Thursday
Strength not too good today. It may be due to lack of food, or that I hadn't quite recovered from Tuesday's session. So poundages were a bit meh...overhead press was pretty weak That will be the last session for over a week as I'm off to the Loire Valley next week avec mon mere (une vielle dame) et Madam Tannhauser. First session back after a little sojourn in France. things went OK, except that I caught my toes on the leg of the bench - having taken my trainers off for deadlifts - and they hurt.
The pulldowns were weak and my brachialis was twinging, so didn;t push the weights. Push Press Warm ups 176 X 5 200 X 4 210 X 3 220 X 2 220 X 2 220 X 1 Deadlifts Warm ups 308 X 4 398 X 3 440 X 2 462 X 2 484 X 2 506 X 1 Pulldowns Approx weights 150-180 X 5 Four sets |
