5/3/1 CYCLE 6 WEEK 2 SQUAT
Squat 5/3/1 (Goal) Actual ATG (257.5 X3) 257.5 X3 (292.5 X3) 292.5 X3 (330 X3) 330 X6 WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT BRB - have to go dancing down the street!! These were all solid ATG reps![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ASSISTANCE LIFTS 1.25 Squats 155 X10 PB +20 lbs 155 X10 155 X10 RDL's 235 X10 PB +5 lbs 235 X10 235 X10 GHR's BW X10 BW X10 BW X10 Cardio ![]() 30 Mins 3.5 Miles 480 Cals burned I was so excited about my squat depth with 330 lbs. I've been working extra hard nailing down my squat form since watching so you think you can squat 500 times. The 1.25 squats are paying off already. The biggest thing I did today was bringing my squat stance in just a bit and distributing my weight properly on my feet and bingo - everything clicked. As the weights keep rising as the cycles roll on, it is imperative that i get my technique down to help avoid injuries. I am injury free (have been all my life except for that forearm issue last year) and I want to do everything I can to make sure I stay that way. This combined with my Volume-itis cured should keep me healthy. It's been on my mind of late due to the rash of injuries happening around here. My lat DOMS are so bad again they are sore to the touch LOL Grow day Wednesday and then Superbench on Thursday.
