JB'S OLD SCHOOL TAKE 2 SEMESTER 1 BENCH ME

You can call me Mr Benchfire! Woot - what a wonderful day!

I awoke this morning feeling the best I have in ages. I felt even better than the meet day in Vegas. I feel healthy and alive, full of hope and optimism.

Everything came together today. I managed to get the tightest I ever have and I think this is some of my best form ever. Everything felt relatively light. I couldn't believe how light the 265 felt - likely could have gotten 6 or 7 reps on it, but stopped knowing I still have heavier weight to lift.

Today, I did feel like a Super Jim!

Thanks to JB for coming up with a gem of a program.

Forgot to put on wrsit wraps for last set LOL, otherwise would have had all 3 reps

Band Pushdowns
I used a 1 inch black mini band
I really liked this exercise and the constant tension on my tri's
(100 total reps)
30, 25, 20, 25

DB Skullcrushers
25's X10
25's X10
25's X10
Perfect weight selection here as I just grinded out the 10th rep on each set.

yeah, when we need to work on the pause we will pause on the board. Just bench with the same speed that you bench to your chest from and you will be fine.

OK. Ya, those paused close grips were tough, but enjoyed it, especially since I have never done that before with close grips.

have the spotter line your hands up. We have to do that for one of my training partners now.

Indeed, they did help me out. They are fully aware of all my issues, including the Birdshot. Great bunch of guys and gals as they have told me whatever it takes they will do.
