Jim you amaze me on how much you go through and just keep fighting. Many men have failed in the face of much less adversity! I couldnt say enough great things about you as a person. You have battled through more than any one person should have to, but you keep on fighting!

Sorry for the continued bad news Jim. I really have nothing to complain about compared to the troubles you are experiencing.

My thoughts and prayers are with you my friend. Keep up the positive outlook and it will get as good as it can get!

Rest up well and keep fighting (as if that is ever in doubt!)

Thanks for the caring, support, and encouragement Rynpel, Jay, Big J, JB, Ravi, Moe, Kuyt, Rich, and Mike. It really means so much and inspires me to try to move on and keep on lifting. So much so, I have an appointment on Thursday morning for a consultation for spinal decompression. In the meantime, they are gathering medical records, x-rays, and Doctor notes in order to qualify me. I anticipate no problem, as spinal compression was my major issue as descibed by the sports medicine doc.

Decompression gives me so much hope and I am so excited at the prospect of not only deadlifting again, but progressing even beyond my beloved dream of a 5 PPS pull. If it wasn't for all of you, I likely would have just accepted the docs advice to quit pulling forever, as it made so much sense to me at the time. I may be a fighter, but you guys give me the fight and the will to never give up.

I don't even care how much this new therapy will cost me. The ability to deadlift again, and do it well and progress, is priceless. I already have at least $2000 invested in this injury but it doesn't bother me one bit.

Reagrding the Torticollis, I am feeling better today, but nowhere near 100% I hope to lift again this weekend with the Crew. I am receiving top notch treatment for this. I am even having a neck massage tonight, as part of the therapy for it.

I really can't believe I have a new condition. When I woke up Saturday morning with this, I just thought I slept wrong or had a bad pillow and thus got a strain. The pain came and went all weekend. When I was squatting, I had very little pain. However, Sunday night, the pain intensified quite a bit. I was assured tho that my lifting did not cause this, just like it did not cause my lower back issues. However, I am sure it didn't help either.

My eyesight, as I mentioned, is going downhill fast in my right eye. I am now bumpiing into things as I tend to misjudge distance alot. I have bumped into the door jamb of my office quite a bit which gets quite a bit of laughter. I am sure it does look funny haha. Just the other week, I almost sideswiped a car driving next to me. This happened at night, when I get mixed up alot wrt my lane bearings. There is alot of flashing in the eyes, which is giving me headaches. They are sore all the time with major league floaters as well. My right eye is basically driving me nuts.

However, the hardest part of the gradual blindness, is the fact my daughter is quite distraught and upset about it. Mrs Squatter is all stressed out as well.

I am not even sure how long I will be able to do my job.

Once again, thanks for all you guys do. It is priceless to me and I can literally say you guys have all impacted my life so positively. It is scary to think about what I would be like today without it.

Thanks so much from the bottom of my heart. My family also knows how much this means to me and also thanks you.

Things are already getting better Ben! I cannot wait for my decompression on Thursday! I should be able to start deadlifting soon. The best part is is that I should be able to keep deadlifting!
