Back felt OK, but it did fatigue quickly on the RDL's and GM's, so I didn't do much with them. Funny thing was it felt really good during my stretching and hangs beforehand, but there is obviously no strength there yet. It sure feels weird to fail at 135 tho. Thanks for the tip to cue in on that heel drive. Quote:

That's the spirit, Jim. Definitely practice pause benching if you indeed on competing raw. Not only does it help ingrain the technique, pause benching is the best "assistance" there is for raw benching (my opinion, and assuming you aren't a rarity missing lockouts raw). However, don't let a red light bother you, especially on that. "Heaving" is highly subjective, and sometimes can be mistaken when really you're just getting good leg drive.
