JB'S OLD SCHOOL WEEK 4 DAY 1 BENCH ME

I was only supposed to do 220 for the 2 middle working sets, and 225 for the last working set if the previous 2 felt a little light-ish. Being a group of lazy powerlifters, it was a unanimous decision to go for 225 across the board for all 3 sets. The first set of 225 felt a little on the heavy side, but I managed to get my tightness almost perfect on the last 2 sets. The Crew said those 2 sets were my best form ever. I was really happy and proud of that. My bench sure has come a long way in 2012. A stepping stone to 315 early in 2013.

I had to laugh at JB's comment in the notes to be careful with these because powerlifters are already ugly and to not make it worse. Speak for yourself!!

Focus was on stretch and keeping tight. I also squeezed pecs.

Squat-o-clock Sunday AM Work sets are at 300 X6 X1 set & 330 X6 for 3 sets. Gonna be tough as I am not recovered yet from Thursday's deficit pulls. When I foam rolled this AM it felt like my back meat was being tenderized.
