Felt very guilty about missing Saturday's Crew Bench, so I decided to try my hand at paused benching, since I haven't done it since my first meet. All went pretty darn good, considering I had no liftoff of course. The 275 attempt was paused, but just couldn't power it up. The 270 lift I didn't end up pausing. The 265 I think was paused long enough. The 255 was for sure paused enough. My PR for paused bench is 265. My TnG PR is 275. All in all, I was very pleased at my first paused practice session. I simply have to get used to the pause. I am sure it will be better on Crew Day. Paused Bench 95 X5 115 X5 135 X5 155 X3 185 X2 205 X1 225 X1 250 X1 275 X0 270 X1 *Didn't really pause this at all* 265 X1 *I think this was paused long enough* 255 X1 *Definitely paused* 225 X6 TnG Back off set Military Press 135 X4 135 X5 135 X5 Cleans 155 X 10 Singles.

Pretty solid session Jimm. Glad everything seemed to go pretty well. Keep working at that bench and you'll get the pause down, i'm sure.

Thanks Mab. For some reason, I have found a great groove with OHP and have been loving doing them of late. I used to hate doing them
