Thanks Ravi. Yes, sort of a deload. Lifting heavy in my home gym is playing havoc with me, so effective immediately I won't bench anymore at home. Heavy benching once per week with the crew on Saturday's will be just fine. I might still do just some DB pressing at home.

SQUAT SESSION

Got off to a sh!tty start tonight - literally. Mrs Squatter plugged the toilet. Upon trying to get the snake out of it, some of it recoiled and then crap was flung all over the place including me LOL. Luckily, none hit my face or I really would have freaked out. So, Mrs Squatter disinfected me with lysol wipes and then into the shower. Since I eat clean, might as well lift clean. To bad the camera wasn't rolling as I am sure it would have won the prize on America's Funniest Home Videos.

Tonight's goal with squats was to widen my stance & begin my descent quicker as per the Crew's instruction. Brian told me that I am burning my clutch out and wasting energy with a too slow start. I have been apprehensive lately due to coming of my lower back tweak. Been there and done that before. I am confident I will be able to get rid of the apprehension soon, as I did last time.

The 340 single felt kinda on the overly heavy side, and 365 was fugly. Thus I decided to ramp down until I found my happy place and then do some triples. As it turned out, 275 felt great and I had a lot of fun burying them. I know I need a deload when 365 feel like 430.

Plan forward now is to Bench Saturday and Deadlift Sunday with the Crew. Next week I will not train at all at home, and play it by ear for that following weekend.
