MODIFIED BILL STARR POWER ROUTINE WEEK 5 DAY 2 LIGHT DAY
Front Squat 125 X5 155 X5 175 X5 205 X5 225 X10 ![]() Incline Bench 135 X5 155 X5 175 X5 205 X5 Power Cleans 115 X3 135 X2 150 X1 160 X1 170 X1 180 X1 I was a little rusty on PC's. My first pull was not distinct enough from the 2nd. Shrugs 135 X5 225 X5 315 X5 365 X5 405 X5 455 X5 225 X8 Haven't done shrugs in awhile. Felt good! ![]()

Thanks so much Mark!! That session is taking me 3 days to recover from. It really kicked my butt. Fronts are a lift I just love to do. I think some variety, combined with frequency of 2X per week is ideal for my progression.

SQUAT & BENCH MEDIUM DAY
Squat 225 X5 245 X5 270 X5 300 X5 325 X3 350 X1 365 X1 365 X1 365 X1 365 X1 365 X1 The singles felt so good I just wanted to do more, so I did. ![]() Bench Press 140 X5 160 X5 180 X5 205 X5 240 X2 Was going for 3, but missed 3rd rep and got stapled. 240 X3 Ha!! Got it! ![]() 230 X1 Paused 235 X1 Paused 245 X1 Paused If somebody would have told me last year that someday I would be able to do all this on bench, and after squats, I would have laughed them off of the side of the Earth.
