BILL STARR POWER ROUTINE WEEK 2 DAY 2 LIGHT DAY
Thank goodness it was light day as energy levels were really low, due to being glutenized on Sunday. My intestines absorb zero calories when I have ingested gluten. Squat 135 X5 155 X5 185 X5 185 X5 185 X5 Incline Bench 105 X5 120 X5 135 X5 155 X5 165 X5 These weights represent 85% of the weight I lifted for flat bench on Monday. Thee routine calls for up to 80% but that it too light. Power Cleans 115 X1 125 X1 135 X1 155 X1 165 X1 175 X1 Kinda wanted 185 today, but after cleaning the 175 I knew I was done. Form was great on all singles. I am finding the PC's more difficult on this routine than I did on 531. GHR Sit Ups Did not do as I was about to collapse from exhaustion. Time to re-feed the old bawd to SHFW on Friday. Now that my back is 100%, I think I will be a little more aggressive on the weight progression on squats and deads.

Thanks HIThopper! The Oly Lifting course I took has helped so much. I hope to be cleaning 225+ this summer or early fall.

BILL STARR POWER ROUTINE WEEK 2 DAY 3 MEDIUM DAY
Medium day calls for triples for the 5th set, and then a back-off set. Squat 135 X5 155 X5 185 X5 205 X5 255 X3 225 X8 Bench Press 120 X5 140 X5 160 X5 180 X5 205 X5 170 X8 Was only supposed to do a triple on set 5, but to my surprise, the 205 did not feel heavy this morning. Last Friday I struggled to do 200 X3. Deadlift 165 X5 185 X5 205 X5 225 X5 275 X3 315 X1 350 X1 365 X1 315 X1 Liquid chalk works like a dream. I do not have to worry about the bar rolling around in my hand anymore. This is going to be real interesting as I feel my form is better as well, thus giving me maximum leverage for the first pull. Weighted Dips BW +35 X5 BW +35 X5 BW +35 X5 Chins BW X3 BW X3 BW X3 CGBP 145 X8 145 X8 145 X8 Standing BB Curls 65 X8 65 X8 65 X8 I couldn't be happier about my post injury progress. Back has felt great all day as well. All lifts felt relatively easy, even Bench which really shocked me. What a difference my re-feed has made. Next week I should be squatting at least 275 for my triple, with 315 the week following. Right on schedule.
