Awesome pressing Session. Congratulations on Smashing some weight.
A course on the OLY lifts sounds very very cool. I think that is an awesome step to take for someone interested in doing them. Good stuff bro!

531 CYCLE 2 WEEK 3 DAY 2 SQUAT

Squat 531
(Goal) Actual
(282.5 X5) 285 X5
(320 X3) 320 X3
(357.5 X1) 365 X5
I think I may stay at this weight for next cycle as I would like to get a bit deeper and to work on the knees out and stay out. Although it seems like I will never get the hang of it, I won't give up. Hopefully the Nike Romaleos will help somewhat. With that said, my knees have never actually felt better.

Front Squat
250 X7 PR +5 lbs & 2 reps
250 X7
250 X4
250 X6
250 X3

RDL's
365 X8 PR +20 lbs
405 X6 PR +60 lbs
405 X6

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would be Front Squatting 250 and RDL'ing 4 PPS. I have even more in me, as they both felt relatively light. I don't even feel anything on my wrists on the Front's; the rest of my body fatigues way before the wrists.

Best of all, I finished the session with no tweaks, creaks, or breaks.

Great work Jim! I am really happy for you. That is some massive weight being moved and you have come a VERY long way in what seems like a short amount of time.

Nice work Jim. If you can drop into the hole faster on those squats, you could probably get 10 out. Fast is strong.

Monster session Jim. Those numbers are a testament to just how strong your lower back is.

Thanks Brute!! No more holding back, and I'm 100% healthy, so it's time to reach my goals.

Thanks Big Al. Working on the speed now will be a priority. I have listened to others' in the past that have said it's better to descend slowly, but no more. I have done better before with some more speed and a bit of a bounce out of the hole. Maybe some speed will help with the knees out issue as well.

Thanks Steve!! I'm surprised at how far my back has come from top to bottom. I want that 500 dead more than anything in 2012.
