Nope. I'll be back in on Thursday and Sunday of this week. No barbells until next week though just dumbells and machines.

It was 6 days off for me before I even wanted to look at any iron. I did do some stretching, etc tho which I think helped recover.

Ouch. My eyes don't even look that bad. The eye surgeons all know I lift and lift heavy and have never once cautioned me wrt my eyes. Thus, I can only assume lifting is not bad for the eyes, otherwise I think they would have told me to cool it.

Hopefully it will sort out. Have you been thinking of getting it checked? Any idea what caused it?

Elevated blood pressure I presume. Got it on squats. The suit makes it worse. I've done it once before and it cleared up in a week or so.

First session back

Incline bench supersetted with face pulls
3 sets of each to warm-up

Incline bench
26kgs for 2 sets of 15
26kgs for 1 set of 20

Wide grip pull ups
BW for 4 sets of 10

One legged leg press
100kgs for 2 sets of 10 per leg

Hammer curls
Too much weight for good form for 3 sets of 10 per arm

Also did a few sets of shrugs and high rows inbetween as well.

Felt good to be back in the gym but had no energy and felt sore and weak. Mini has a chest infection so I haven't slept much in the last week. This combined with a session at the end of a long work week and no preWO or stimulants and the after effects of the meet mean I'm not surprised I felt ropey.

Next session will be Sunday and I'll try a light version of the new Faz Super Routine which I'll detail more tomorrow. For now I'm going to finish my pizza and ice cream then try to get some sleep.

Solid one-leggers on the Leg Press Al! I at one time called them Carlizers since he first suggested them to me. Sure miss him.

Fiorella's illness sure brings back memories of when my daughter used to get sick, so I know what your going thru, except I wasn't lifting at the time. Kudo's to you for going in and getting something done to at least get the blood flowing. Rest up and looking forward to the new SuperFaz (AKA Fonzie) program!
