Prob should have reracked that first attempt! Never got the elbows around on the first one. Next two reps were pretty solid. Doing a much better job of gettin gyour belly up to the bar. Presses are looking much faster as well.

Good job man, yeah not sure what happened on the first hand-off but never mind. Nailed it on the third attempt.

Personally I would get away from the shirt now. Keep the heavy shit going though; so hammer some raw board work, reverse band shit if you can etc. My strength tends to wane away with constant shirt work, and I pick up little aches.

Yup that's the plan. 2 weeks out now so I'm gonna do a bit of high board work in the shirt on Tuesday after speed bench and then cruise into the meet. Staying healthy.

Speed pulls in full gear against doubled light bands

WARNING: Video contains live commentary, partial male nudity and some shaky camera work.

Strong session today. Dead stop GMs are still horrible but felt great to get extra weight on the bar and loads of reps. Forgot to wash my suit so I was getting very little help on the pulls. Heaviest rep was somewhere around a second attempt weight at the top so pleased. Still a little slow at the top but MUCH less ramping than previously and all in all I feel confident that with a washed and tighter suit and some rest, I'll be good for a PB at the meet.

That is the last heavy deadlifting done now. Will do some light pulls after my squats on Thursday with straight weight just to keep my eye in and feel the tighter gear and then I'm done.
