Apart from having a few beers on Friday I have been backloading to a t. It gives me better energy than eating carbs throughout the day. Well that combined with huge amounts of coffee

DYNAMIC EFFORT SQUAT/DL

Deep heat to left lat and foam roll for 10 minutes at home.
Walk to gym.
Foam roll again.

Speed squats week 2 of 3
Green bands (+40kgs @top) and 16" box
Bar for 2 sets
Add bands
Bar for 2 sets
Add suit straps down
60kgs for 2 sets of 2
100kgs x 2
Add belt
125kgs for 2 sets of 2
Working sets
145kgs for 8 sets of 2
Hazzard knee wrap and a failed attempt at 175kgs. Wraps were so well done I couldn't break and sit back
Would have had anothe attempt but some douche had been sulking waiting for the dumbells I had the bands wrapped around so I let him have them and moved on.

Speed pulls against doubled super minis (+40kgs)
Suit bottoms
60kgs x 5
100kgs x 3
Belt on
130kgs for 3 singles
Working sets
150kgs for 4 singles
Straps up
150kgs for 4 singles

Cable Pulldown abs
35kgs x 50 in front and 25 per side

Not a bad session. Bad night's sleep again last night and back is strained from Mini being in the bed all night. Took ages to loosen up but was ok once I got going. Disappointed about the knee wraps debacle but I just need more practice. Should probably wrap myself as well so that I can control how much I can feel my feet.

All of the speed work was snappy and although it wasn't light, it wasn't too heavy either. Got a few days off now and hopefully some sleep and extra sessions before max effort bench on Thursday. Got a week out of the shirt and doing floor press against chains. Got a session with Faz lined up soon as well so need to make sure I am not completely run down by then

Yeah "thanks" for the wrap Unfortunately this one is confirmed for the 21st as it's the best weekend for Faz and I but at least you'll be snapping necks and doing other gridiron stuff

If I didn't train when I am tired, I wouldn't train. It builds mental strength as well. Got a decent 7 hours last night
