Getting bigger that's the right direction. I had to buy a new belt recently and new clothes... gets expensive! LOL

MAX EFFORT BENCH PRESS
Walk 2 miles through the ghetto to the gym Stretch and deep heat Reverse light band bench press Bar for 3 sets Add reverse light bands taking approx 30kgs at the bottom 60kgs for 2 sets of 5 100kgs for 2 sets of 3 130kgs x 2 150kgs x 1 160kgs x 1 167.5kgs x 1 +2.5kgs PB 170kgs x 1 +5kgs PB 172.5kgs x 0 Seated cable row with V handle 65kgs x 10 90kgs x 10 100kgs for 3 sets of 10 Rolling DB extensions 15kgs for 4 sets of 15 Awesome session. Dropped a caffeine tablet as I left work and walked 30minues to the gym. Felt ok through the warm-ups although set-up was a bit awkward in the rack. The bench was too high and it took a while to get tight enough with plates under my feet. 150 was comfortable. 160 was a bit of a struggle but Pete slapped me as I was about to set-up for the 167.5 and that seemed to do the trick. Another slap and 170 was even better. 172.5 was a step too far. I was a little tired and lost my tightness as my foot slipped at the top. Still got a 5kgs PB which I was very pleased with seeing as I only did this exercise two months ago. Technique was improved and the drifted bar path allowed me to lockout better. Good times. Smashed through assistance in double quick time as I'd already been going for over an hour and I wanted to get home, alternating one exercise then the other. Like a fat man's superset ![]() Great session overall. Video is rendering now. Big thanks to P for handling and encouragement. Absolute legend. Couple of rest days now before dynamic effort squat/DL. Gonna do one session at home and one at the small work gym. Do I Even Lift??? Not often but when I do, I smash PBs ![]() LtL |

Some heavy volume here mate. Nice work.
Are the reverse bands slack at the top of the lift?
