Xtend is where its at dude. I drink it during and after my workouts. Really helps

Awesome session. DL's felt heavy but smooth. No grinding, straining, just stood up with the bar. This is the best that my conventional DL has EVER felt. Good times.

Front squats were hard but shrugs were unbelievably brutal. Watch the vid' and see how I slump over the bar at the end: If I had held the bar any longer I felt like my arms would have been pulled off.

Was great fun training with my brother today. His first ever real deadlifting session and he tripled 120kg's: proud He's the mini-me with the red t-shirt in the vid's

The rest of the day has been spent barbequing copious amounts of food and relaxing. Good times.

great session big man.... those shrugs lok brutal buddy, i bet your entire body was on fire. Gotta love super heany weight like that. Beats the ass of muscle squeeze and tut with DB's IMO, everyfibre in your body would have been working to stop your arms coming away from your shoulders, you dont get that with 'feeling the muscle'

What do you think has contributed to the massive increase in the Conv' deadlift numbers... just brute strength ??

And your brother really is a mini-you, just more hair lol

It's easy to feel the muscle working when if it doesn't work, your arms will fall off.

As for why have my conventional DL numbers climbed, I think there are four factors:

1. Improved technique.
2. I have done a LOT of posterior chain accessory work recently.
3. I'm not pulling heavy every week.
4. I'm just stronger

My bro's friend needs a new car so you may be meeting him soon. Is it OK if I pass him your number?
