Empty bar squats 2 sets of 10 to get the blood pumping DL's 60kg's x 8 80kg's x 5 100kg's x 3 120kg's x 1 C and 1 Sumo 150kg's x 1 170kg's x 1 Work sets 190kg's x 1 Tied PB 200kg's x 1 PB 210kg's x 1 BIG PB Front Squats 60kg's x 10 80kg's for 2 sets of 10 Shrugs 240kg's x 10 270kg's x 9 PB Cable Crunches 45kg's for 2 sets of 10 50kg's x 15 55kg's x 15 Awesome session. DL's felt heavy but smooth. No grinding, straining, just stood up with the bar. This is the best that my conventional DL has EVER felt. Good times. Front squats were hard but shrugs were unbelievably brutal. Watch the vid' and see how I slump over the bar at the end: If I had held the bar any longer I felt like my arms would have been pulled off. Was great fun training with my brother today. His first ever real deadlifting session and he tripled 120kg's: proud He's the mini-me with the red t-shirt in the vid's ![]() The rest of the day has been spent barbequing copious amounts of food and relaxing. great session big man.... those shrugs lok brutal buddy, i bet your entire body was on fire. Gotta love super heany weight like that. Beats the ass of muscle squeeze and tut with DB's IMO, everyfibre in your body would have been working to stop your arms coming away from your shoulders, you dont get that with 'feeling the muscle'
