REPETITION EFFORT UPPER
Deep heat to lower back, shoulders and tris Bench Press Bar x lots x 3 50kgs x 5 x 2 80kgs x 5 x 2 100kgs x 5 110kgs x 5 120kgs x 5 130kgs x 5 Slingshot on 145kgs x 6 Rolling Tricep Extensions 17.5kgs for 2 sets of 12 Lat Pulldowns (wide grip) 50kgs for 2 sets of 15 60kgs x 10 Felt good on bench today. All of the extra stretching and mobility seems to be paying off as I was in a very good position on the bench: higher arch than usual, better bar path and no shoulder pain. Good times. Little annoyed with the 130 set as I was weak off the chest so I ended up drifting the bar back more than the other sets. Slingshot set was much better. Now my shoulder is better I will add in more dumbell pressing to address this. Kept assistance work to a minimum as feeling a little sick at the moment. Had a cracking headache for most of the session so just got some volume in and called it there. Was inspired to do rolling extensions by the latest Bullfarm training video which shows a guy doing them with what looks like 40kgs+ dumbells Will post later: utter beasts the lot of them. So not the greatest session. No real PBs but I got out what I wanted: slightly lower reps with more weight, worked on my technique and positioning which I feel is improving and managed to press a decent number for reps without ANY shoulder pain ![]() Max Effort lower on Tuesday and I'm probably going to do some good mornings. Now time to rest and make sure I don't get properly ill. LtL |

Interesting variation. With 40kgs looks beastly to say the least.
Way to push through and get it done today.

May not have been your greatest session (to you) but impressive none the less. PBs or lack there of aren't necessarily required to have an intense session.
