I haven't overhead pressed in around 3-4months and not regularly for longer than that. Despite this my shoulders appear to be growing. Go figure.

me too... I constantly hear "dont do BHTNP or upright row cos it hurts your shoulders" Im doing both (kind of) and my shoulders feel fine.

I hear "side lateral grow the medial delts more than anything else" but my shoulders have grown more since I stopped isolating the medial delt.

And "you cant squat 3 x per week" or "fullbody is useless for muscle building" but I am squatting 3 x per week even with dodgy knees and the full body is giving me better gains than i have had for a while.

Gotta love 'tipping the sacred cow'

Thats why i love this site... no parrots, just experiance !

I think the medial delts get more of a workout keeping your arms connected to your shoulders while deadlifting, but that's just me.

Quick session tonight; about 45minutes in all. Speed squats were good. Concentrated on keeping the knees out in the hole and starting to feel the difference. Hoping that continues through to the weekend's reverse band squats. Really pleased with my training partner Gary tonight: he hit 4 singles at 100kg's with minimal rest which is around 90% of his max. His depth is now ATG and his bar speed is improving. He'll be up to 3PPS soon. A big improvement.

First time doing deficit pulls of any kind so weights were light as I found my way. I like these for speed because you have to pull really fast to break the floor. Got some footage of these which I will upload later.

Leg curls to finish and they burned nicely. Now gonna settle down for some dinner and the rest of the football with my wife. Good times
