I switched to sumo about 18months ago cos my conventional form sucked. Check out the old videos on my youtube

Thanks Jim. It's nice to escape the oestrogen trap which is my house (MIL, Mrs LtL, mini LtL and even a female cat) to the testosterone filled iron haven but it's also amazing to come home to my family at the end of it

LtL
My aerobic step is not sturdy enough. I chuckled that you were actually able to find a useful use for those rubber coated plates as they are not much good for anything else. I reckon I could buy 2 of them and use them when I do my 600 lb deadlift next year.

I hear ya WRT the estrogen levels in the house - I'm in the exact same boat. I reckon that's what makes the JimGym extra special to me - a home within a home.

Just noticed the deficit dead vid. Just freakin' awesome mate. The deficit sure changes the dynamics of a deadlift eh?

x3 on escaping the oestrogen levels... I have 5 of them in the house and 2 fish, which knowing my luck, are also females

Great session AL. those defecits are beastly !!! I think you should definitely consider going back to conventional 'full time' mate, you are sooo much stronger on it now that you were. i think the sumos have helped strengthen the PC and that its gonna spill over to the conventional pull now

good stuff in here as always

Carl.

Yeah the deficit makes you really squat down to the bar and get your hips low. This is good for my form off the floor. When I start a deficit pull I'm thinking about an Olympic lifter starting to pull a clean.

Thanks buddy. I'm going to continue to pull both ways but will test my max off the floor conventional soon and expect to make that my main style thereafter.

Now any tips for a baby who refuses to sleep? At all!!! We think the poor little one is getting colic and she just can't sleep. Was awake from 9pm til 4am crying and then slept on Mrs LtL from 8am this morning. Have a hospital appointment this afternoon so hopefully they can suggest something. Surely crying for that long uninteruppted is not right????
