Nice work man, its always good when lifts are moving. I would try and point my toes out just a little more on the pull, and make sure that John has the bar on his shins when he starts. Remember that its like a pendulum and its easier to lift the closer it is.

You have that article in mind that talked about the nutting up they did at Westside?

Congrats Al. A deadlift PR is always an awesome training day. Next month 500 or else.

Have you tried a conventional max recently?

3-4-5 is uber, 4-5-6 is Elite/Near Elite. Get after it.

Wow 220kg DL!! Thats insanely strong mate, bring on 6PPS!!

In regards to the proxy thing.. Its like you using another website to access M&B through them so it passes the filter.. Im not sure if they still work, its a tip i learnt in like year 9 LOL to get past the school filters.

Or you could go through google, then use the "Cache" option to get onto M&B. Worth a try

Thanks Ken. It's about time you pulled 5pps+. Anello will take you there I'm sure.

Thanks J. I have been working on straightening my toes as per a quote from Mark Bell that it makes firing your glutes easier and I think it's working for me as the lockout was better last night. What do you think?

Thanks for the advice on John. I noticed he pitched forward and that must be why. I'll let him know. I swear if I can tidy up his technique, he's good for even more right now.

HAHA Steve you know me to well. That is very much what I was thinking. In fact I often think when faced with a problem, "What would Dave Tate do?"

I will be trying conventional max soon. I think I may be good for moar!

awesome lifting Al, 3/4/5 i very very strong as is somewhere hat most people can only dream at getting, especially natural, un-geared people... i think you definitely have the 4/5/6 in you mate.

the lifts look insanely strong though brother, the 210 went up like a rocket and the 220 wasnt that much slower, impressive stuff big guy

Carl.

Thanks buddy. I'd like 700 as a total before I move into gear and that would be 4/5/6+ If the ratios are about the same.

I really think that if I make slightly different jumps and make 227.5 the 2nd lift and not the third, I will get it.

Back feels OK this morning but forearm is VERY sore. Ibuprofen gel and some rolling at work today I think.

Will try to catch up on everyone's logs on my phone throughout the morning.
