Day 125
Week 1 Cycle 2
Strength

Warm up - 5min elliptical/jumping jacks/iron crosses/back ext
Specific warm up - box jumps for hight/hang cleans
Deadlift - 135x5 185x3 225x3 245x3 265x3 285x3 305x3 305x5
Squat - 95x5 135x5 155x3 185x3 205x3 225x3 255x3
Squat - 135x10 135x12 135x15
Bent over db rows - 60x12 70x10 75x10 80x8

Last week during deload(of all weeks) I pulled something doing high rep squats. Last week to my surprise, 3 days after squatting, I woke up nearly unable to walk. Literally I had to hobble around for 2 days.
The pain is located directly in the center of the right quad starting at the hip and running half way down the thigh. If I had to guess I'd say it's an aggrevated tendon. There is no swelling or bruising just the pain that has thankfully subsided to a manageable level.
Deadlifts didn't cause any noticeable pain so I'll be continuing to start with these on leg day and using squats as an accessory until the area is healed. Really I don't think this will be a major issue as today was smooth sailing.

How bad is the pain/discomfort while squatting?

I'm going to be a bit scarce in my posting here at MaB. Everything was running smoothly until two weeks ago before deload I pulled a hip flexor. In hindsight the injury was caused by squatting below parallel. Lack of flexiblity was causing a pelvic tilt resulting in the minor hip tweak. I'm going to pimp slap the next person that advocates going atg if they don't completely explain the possible dangers if one is not flexible, enought.

The deload was good timing. The flexor was NEARLY healed up.

Notice I emphasized 'nearly'.

The flexor still had just enough tweak to cause an imbalance. Three or four days ago while power cleaning I pulled an abdominal muscle directly about the hip.

Being a few days out from the injury an still in pain, its much worse than the hip. Most certainly squats and deads are sidelined for a while, and so is my motivation and desire to track sessions(that is if I can train)

Good luck guys. I'm sure I'll be back once I'm healed enough to train legs.
