BB press: 100x12 DB upright row: 25'sx12 Squats: 235x12 (Got my old Squat groove back, Platzville here I come!) Front squat: 110x12 Chest dip: Bodyweightx12 (Good form) Reverse grip bench press (to the clavicle): 115x12 BB calf raise: 150x12 BB seated calf raise: 60x20 (15 second rests between sets) Tricep dip: Bodyweightx12 Close grip bench press (reverse grip): 100x12 Lesson learned, chest before shoulders, otherwise things go to hell! Lots of guys like to Press before Bench work, I don't! |

Here's my history in point form.
-Year 2003. -Started Bodyweight training, then noticed skinny legs. -Talked to co-worker (former Powerlifter). -I got told "Squat like man". -Got taught "man lifts". -Did Upper/Lower split, got big and strong. -Luck with ladies improved 100%. See connection? -Had knee and back injury, shelved eight months. -Therapist sucked. -"Experts" told not to train, surgery only option. -Met and started violating wife. -I said "UGH", picked up where I left off. -Learned Squats heal. (the reason I can walk and not cry like man baby) -Got big and strong again. -Started bodypart split routine. -Not big, not strong. -Bought house. -Married wife. -Did Westside Barbell method. -Got huge! Got bull elephant strong!! -Got hurt lots too, had to try something else. -Did 3x3 Big three workout. -Got stronger, not much bigger. -Did Fullbody routine. -Got a little bigger, got strong AND leaner. -Had "little me". -Had "parental" layoff. -During layoff, got Personal Trainer Certificate, just because. -Wanted to Upper/Lower again, decided to read book instead. -Decided on Push/Pull, makes more sense then Upper/Lower. -Getting back what I lost during layoff. -Having second "little me". -Joined Muscle and Brawn forum. -Started 1st log. -Having the most fun I've had in years. -Kept wife. |

Yeah, I'm turning 29 this year, and I thought damn, am I starting to get old lol? When I started training again when I was really banged up (against the suggestion of all the "experts") I thought, "F*** it, if I wind up in a wheelchair so be it." How I hurt myself in the first place, I drank my face off the night before, came to work still reeling drunk, and fell going up a flight of stairs messing up my knee. To top it off the way I was walking to compensate for my injury, pinched the nerves in my back on my OPPOSITE side!! I had two half legs! To make a long story short, training cured me, and I didn't mess around with the light stuff either. I went heavy from day one, and it paid off.
