Macros for yesterday...
P - 187g C - 13g F - 157g (mostly from cheese, eggs and olive oil) Gotta admit diet was easy and energy levels were fine all day. I actually ate more than I normally would, but all good stuff. It has made me realise that I was eating no where near enough fat even when I thought I was abd also that I need to up my protein too. Carl.

no steve, everything feels normal so far, but with the diet you can have carbs (dextrose) immediately PWO and a normal meal when you get hungry afterwards so i dont think you actully go in to ketosis or whatever its called lol

Oly Coaching lesson 2
I wanted to try to 'nail a snatch' this session as I really want to incorporat them in to my program somehow... Also though I wanted a bit of advice on racking the bar as my hands have been hurting after cleaning recently.We started with some shoulder dislocations, and bodyweight oh squatting stuff like that to get warmed up. We then did the warm up drill.. 6 x 30kg deadlift/6 x 30kg highpull with just the shrug/6 x 30kg full highpulls/6 x 30kg powercleans/6 x 30kg squat cleans. We did a few powercleans with 40kg ans i was informed i was not relaesing my grip soon enough and cathing the bar on my shoulders but i was actually only realeasing the grip when the bar was at my shoulder... then a few squat cleans with 40kg Thenwe moved to snatches. We did some OH squats with just the bar, then with 30kg we did a few bhtn push presses with 30kg A frew drop snatches again with 30kg, then with 40kg then we did muscle snatches (basically a snatch from the hip position) with 30kg then 40kg, just holing the bar at the top. then we added the squat aspect so it was a snath from the hip position... We then did some full snatches with 30kg and 40kg, but i was having a tendancy to 'jump' backwards and pull the bar away from the body with the arms rather than getting the elbows up. We then did about 10 reps of high pulls and dropping the bar when i would be normally dropping my body under it, which seemed to correct the elbow problem. then it was Snatches 6 x 30kg 6 x 40kg 3 x 45kg (my previous OH Squat PB weight ) he then asked me if I wanted to go for 47.5... obviously I did ![]() 2 x 47.5kg a new OH Squat PB and a SNatch PB ![]() then... 2 x 50kg.... Another OH Squat pb and Snatch PB and he thinks I defintely have more in me, so I have a few footwark drill to practice, before hopefully having some more coaching in a fortnight.... Just friggin AWESOME fun ![]() Carl.
