First session back since last Thursday. Came down with a nasty cold. Today was the first day I felt like a human and not a zombie at 5 am. Pushed myself a bit too hard, perhaps, but I made it. Was sweating like a pig after one set of hack squats,shaking and almost puked a few times between squat sets. I am sure my body will thank me for this later! On the home front, I am hoping for no flooding. With the exception of 1 day, we've had rain every day since Irene first brought us rain. Last night we got 6 inches of rain and it was coming down at an inch per hour this morning. Local rivers and things are overflowing and some areas of town are underwater. Dozens of streets are closed. The showed a gazebo floating down a street this morning--flood waters had lifted it up and out of the store parking lot. My neighbor had some flooding in his house, but I haven't had a chance to talk to him about it as our schedules are opposite and I've been delirious after working each day. Will head back to the gym tomorrow for more self-inflicted torture!

Nice work Nard, glad you're feeling better! You guys must have gotten the brunt of it, still yucky here, but not nearly that much rain. Hope it lets up soon!

Oh man, when it rains it pours literally for you. First an Earthquake, then a Hurricane, then you get a flu, and now torrential downpours
