Alright, I'm bouncing back from yesterday's ordeal. Will have to find an alternative to CT scans. Anyhow, today was a dynamic effort bench day. I warmed up with some med ball tosses, then worked on some triples up to 185, which is about 60% of my one-rep max. Most of these sets were done with a mini band stretched between my wrists to practice pulling the bar apart.
Bench press: 135 x 3 165 x 3 x 3 sets 175 x 3 x 3 sets 185 x 3 x 2 sets Unstable bench: 185 x 8 x 3 sets One arm standing DB OHP: 45 x 5 55 x 5 65 x 5 70 x 5 Cable lateral raises: Light weight x 10 x 2 sets Cable reverse grip curls: Light weight x 15 x 2 sets

Thanks. It felt nice to bounce back from yesterday. My doc said next time I should take some anti-histamine or possibly steroids before going into the scan. Sounds like fun.

Today was a dynamic effort day, week #2 of low box squats with chains. I did a bunch of doubles, and finished with some light singles.
Low box squats (equipped): 135 x 5 135 + 60 pds chains x 5 225 + 60 pds chains x 3 255 + 60 pds chains x 2 x 4 sets 275 + 60 pds chains x 2 x 3 sets 295 + 60 pds chains x 1 315 + 60 pds chains x 1 Seated leg curls: light band x 12 x 3 sets Seated abductors: light band x 15 x 2 sets Reverse hypers: Half rack + heavy bands x 8 x 3 sets DB calf raises: 70 x 2 sets until fail

Max effort. Today was a max effort day with floor presses going for a rep PR. Assistance included high rep triceps work, and some seated rows.
Floor press: bar x lots 135 x 5 185 x 3 230 x 3 245 x 3 275 x 2 (rep PRs) 205 x 12 Floor triceps extensions (EZ-bar): 70 x 12 70 x 15 50 x 20 Tate press: 30 x 8 30 x 8 30 x 9 Seated rows: 60 x 10 100 x 10 140 x 10 Abs.
