Squats-
125x12 125x12 125x12 felt great. getting used to high reps BB Rows- 75x12 75x12 75x12 great form BTN Press- 65x12 65x12 65x12 so awesome! i love these. they felt hard last week so i was only gonna add one rep but i felt so great i just did 12 for all 3 sets Bench- 85x12 85x12 85x12 this was tough...since i don't care much about bench i'm gonna leave it here for a while and maybe increase 5 lbs every other week BB Curl- 30x12 30x12 30x12 Dips- BWx4 BWx4 BWx4 BWx4 total volume went up 1 rep. thats the plan till I get 5 sets of 10, gonna be a long journey great workout again, felt real pumped up, the 12 rep day was hard as hell. 8 reps per exercise is much easier. is it okay if i progress reps on some exercises faster than others? for example I increase squats 5-10 pounds every week as follows: Day 1: 8 reps Day 2: 10 reps Day 3: 12 reps but at the same time, my BTN press might only move 1 rep per day so i'd increase weight every 5th workout...is it okay to have weight added sporadically like that?

Great looking session SO.
Like BTB said it is normal for some groups to build faster. You seem to have a great grasp on working the program. You would be surprised at how much strength it takes to get from 8 to 12 reps once you have firmly moved into the program. |
