J i really like bench press aswell and i wait and think and prepare always for my bench press days on an off day do u think i could do some ME bench as u have done btw awesome bench and deadlifts, just posted my squat session

It is really up to you, I think you could do max effort on an off day just make sure you leave plenty of time to recover before your 5/3/1 day. I know my body and I have been training for a lot longer than you so I kinda know how much my body can handle. Before 5/3/1 I was doing training with much more volume and I have been for quite some time, my body is used to higher volumes of training.

I would say you do ME days, but keep the volume extremely low. There is really only one way to find out and that is to do it. I say if you want to try it go for it, but that is how I have always done things. Soem may say that is not the best way to do it, but it has worked for me.

I agree J i think it would be a good idea i gotta give it a try to know if its worth it or not, so im thinking tomorrow i will go do a ME bench day and see how it goes cause i dont bench again until 5 days just dl and sohp until friday, im gonna go give it a try tomorrow and see how it goes man working out is really becoming my passion

that is good coop, I was thinking it may be best for you to start by doing a ME bench day only every other week. So that way you will not wear yourself out too quickly. I think you would definitely get sufficient rest that way.

I do not want to use straps for these, but my forearms are killing me! I think I did too many pull ups with fat gripz on saturday, they crush the forearms.

Tricep Extensions

Very good workout today, bench felt great. I tucked my feet and really got tight and stayed tight. I did not cheat at all, my butt stayed down and I felt strong. I think the more I do this, the stronger I will get by using it.
