I returned to the gym this past week after almost an entire month out of the gym with a back strain that for the most part had me bedridden. So this week i will be starting what i'm calling my "225" program. For my three major lifts i will be using 225lbs as my weight for my working sets and just rep'n them out as much as i can. For bench i am projecting 8-10 reps for a couple sets to start but hope to get this to the 14-16 range. For squats and deads i want to get into the 20's. For the rest of my accessory exercises i will be doing a couple warmup sets then 2 working sets of 25 reps thus you can see where the "225" still comes into play. In all maybe close to 100 reps per exercise other than the big three. The goal in mind is to build as much dense muscle fiber as i can so when i cut i look like a lab experiment. I hope to come in a minimum of 10lbs heavier than last year. I should say i'm not settling for anything less than that. My current weight is 191 of which i think right now is 20-25 within show weight. Now that the summer has ended and my appetite has returned i have a couple months to pump this weight up as much as possible. If i get over 200 i'll probably start to check my diet more but until then its mostly red meat and milk. thanks man!! i just couldn't keep beatin myself up to the point of not being able to use my body. it wasn't working for me so i guess i'm not suited to be a powerlifter. but this bodybuilder thing.......i think i got a shot at a decent future there.

Didn't know you had it this bad off. I like the 225 approach. Keep crushing those reps one at a time. Let's get this party started.
