I found my flippin' notebook. It was right where I left it...at the gym. Funny thing is, I had someone look in the lost and found last Friday and it wasn't there. Tonight I walked past the towel desk on the way in, and there it was. Name and phone number is now on the outside front cover. Squat 45x5 125x5 140x5 160x5x2 OHP 20x5 45x5 75x5x5 Deadlift 135x5 190x5 220x5 250x5 - had to switch to mixed grip on last 2 reps 285x5 - ***I'm 30 pounds away from my tested 1Rm of a year ago, and 50 pounds away from where I got derailed last June. Thngs are coming back. ***edit*** I realized I made an error. I meant to say that I was 30 pounds away from my tested 5RM, which I had since smashed. I'm still a ways away from my tested 1RM. Sorry for the error. Let the record stand corrected. -- big valsalva (2/2/11) Treadmill - 19:49 -- 1.81 miles (ran 1.5 miles in 14.49) - realized that i probably shouldn't attempt to run on deadlift night. Myback was just killing me.

Thank you, big_swede. I'm starting to feel it again. Soon you and I can sit down with a cup of grog and retell our feats of strength. Just like our ancestors after battle.

Nonetheless, I'm still 50 pounds away from where I was repping last summer. Your deads will come back. Oddly enough, they used to be my best lift, but now I get so fatigued. That last set is a bit of a drag. I might need to tinker with the set/rep scheme.
