Rough last couple weeks of training. Felt alright tonight, a little tight.
warmup 3x5 barbell snatches couple sets of knee jumps Axle Clean and Press 1RM 128x1 clean and 3 presses- 2 sets 158x1 178x1 198x0x2 203x1- couple attempts 208x1- missed about 4 presses before I got this one 213x0- got the clean on the first try, missed the press second try couldn't get it. Ran long, ran out of time... |

95#x5x5 Axle Clean & Press 135x3 185x2 225x1 260x0x4 230x2 I think Im going to switch my days around. My days are all jacked up. Im hitting two ME days back to back. This aint going to work. I was making leaps and bounds when I would hit ME LB on Tuesday, off wednesday, ME UB on Thursday. Im going back to that starting next week!!! |

Beastly brother!!! I can feel that 550 not being a problem come September 18th. Pretty good on 290 also bro with the yoke scraping the ground. Perserverance my brother!! I love that word, Perserverance!!!!

It's been near a week since I last trained. Family, work, and other obligations have kept me out of the gym. Did some upper body work.
Warmed up with some box jumps. A few sets of doubles up to 32-34". Axle Press from stands 128x3 163x3 178x3 198x3 (90%) 208x1 (95%) 208x2 (95%) 198x3 (90%) 203x3 (92%) 203x2 (92%) A little slow on my explosion. Can definitely tell its been a week. Did a few reps on axle cleans with 178, 198, and 203. Log Incline Press- 35 degree angle 150x10 170x5x2 170x4 Not too bad all things considered. Hopefully back on track next week. 10 weeks from Sat. until contest. Have to re-focus after the last couple weeks, and re-vamp the upcoming training schedule. |

Yoke Walk
200x130 380x130 (65' down, set down at turn, re-pick and 65' back) 480x75 (couple drops) 520x a few feet x 4 shoulder- 120# stone x 5 Stones Over Bar- 51" 175x5 200x2 200x5 (tacky) 220x0 (2 attempts, got the pickup just maybe an inch or so low.) 220x0 - done, couldn't get it back off the ground. okay workout, had its moments, but not my best. bwt still low, about 150 today. |
