Ok, I'm not sure what the hell I thought a Clean was....I checked out the Clean on ExRx, and if that's what your're doing Kit with 170, that's pretty damn impressive. I don't have enough space to even try a clean in my gym room, but I'm pretty sure I'm not Cleaning 170.....

last 24 hrs been VERY rough. workout was likewise bad
Press 45 x 10 95 x 5 115 x 3 135 x 1 150 x 1 160 x 1 PR 150 x 1 Deadlift 135 x 5 185 x 3 225 x 2 275 x 1 325 x 1 PR 315 x 1 305 x 1 hurt my wrist bad while lowering the bar after 160 lb press. next one with 150, the clean part was easy most of the movement. Racking part of the clean hurt bad, and the press felt worse. stopped rest of the sets there and moved to dead. Began to feel the hurt right wrist around 275, but still tried and got 325 PR. Two more singles after that and the wrist is virtually unusable now. Last 24 hrs, I have had other setbacks, so the wrist injury is least of my problems now actually. Basically lost 6 weeks of research work in one bad hour yesterday, and then later got the news from home that the bank where we had all our crucial family papers, jewels etc caught fire and got badly burnt. No idea of how much the damage is. Gonna rest tomorrow instead if cleaning; gotta be at work on Thurs, so will get back on Friday I guess. |

First of all, i want to say i hope everything works out regarding your family's items, valuables. Its hard to lose things of that nature and im crossing my fingers **** survived unscathed!
In the grand scheme of things, lifting is a small part of it all, but when your passionate about it, the string of PR's you are hitting should give you a small bit of comfort. Keep at it and perservere.

Sorry to hear about this stuff Kit. You're like a brother to us and we hate to see this sort of stuff happen. Hang in there with the injury. I've had things like that happen. Hopefully a week off will bring it back.
