Tuesday, May 25 2010
1) Squat 295x3, 335x3, 375x4, 355x3 2) Pause Squat 265x3x5 3) GM 225x10, 245x10, 255x2x6 4) Sumo Deadlift 315x3x5 I really kicked my ass today and dragged myself home after finishing up with some stretching. I foam rolled before and after this workout, and will probably still be sore tomorrow. I'm getting much better at sumo deads and hope to see an increase in hip strength that will soon carry over to my squat. Another thing is that I think I rushed through this workout too fast. I did all the above in about an hour and ten minutes. I think I feel better on squats when I do some walking on a treadmill or some stairmaster, not just for joints, but to get my heart rate up and start sweating before I squat. When I just squat, it's like going from 0 to 120 in an old pickup truck.

Good stuff big guy, those are some really strong GMs, exactly how do you do them? foot placement? and how deep do you go?
I am pretty sure you said in another thread you were doing a meet with the WNPF in New Jersey, exactly where is it exactly? I live near new jersey and maybe I could come watch it.

I second Jeremy's question...how do you do your good mornings?
I like doing mine with a very wide stance and feet at 45 degrees.
