Last time I set maxes, I did all on one day about 20 minutes apart for each lift.. This time I'm thinking I should split them up a bit... Probably Flat Press and Squat on Thursday, DL and OH Press Friday...

So after 4 days of nothing...back to the iron today. Good session overall, quicker than usual too. Also mowed about 25% of the lawn; will finish that tomorrow or Wednesday...Takes too long to do all at once during the week..
Today was a planned deload, although my deload calculation aren't very deload-like... I'll figure it out eventually... For now, just a little something to prepare for max effort later this week.. Diet 4 Eggs and toast for breakfast, chicken and rice for lunch, 4 Meatballs w/ grated cheese. Also had a cupcake earlier, and will have another later..because they are so good... Session Summary Flat Press 20x @ 115 10x @ 135 5x @ 155 5x @ 165 5x @ 175 5x @ 185 5 top half partials, 2 bottom half partials, and 1 extra full rep @ 185 Pec Deck 20x @ 110 10x @ 140 5x @ 150 5x @ 160 5x @ 170 5x @ 180 Squat 20x @ 135 11x @ 155 5x @ 185 5x @ 185 - 3-way hybrid squats.. Full ATG, Pause, Breathing Squats...about 12 seconds per rep total, with 5 second breath in between.. Quads are pretty solid right now...chest is so-so... Tomorrow should be another good day... Will start working the diet and routine for the upcoming cut...

Yeah, the squats were pretty sick. I felt I could have done a few more..the hard part was obviously the pause down low.. I also used a much wider than usual stance, well outside of shoulder width, but not quite full sumo. I found it much easier to sit back properly versus leaning forward.. I think I can do more weight this way...I'll find out in a few days..

Yes. That's my war cry for today... Back and Shoulders, mid weight for deload-ish workout..
Will do some Lat Pull Downs, Low Rows, and DLs for back....I suck it pretty much all Shoulder excersises, so I'll probably just throw some OPs in, maybe some rear delt flyes or upright rows.. I really want one of those side-lateral raise machines for the outside of my shoulders..hopefully they have one at the gym I'm going to next week...

Diet
The usual until dinner..I had a Grilled Chicken Sub and a slice of pizza...... Session Summary Lat Pull Down 20x @ 90 10x @ 120 5x @ 130 5x @ 140 5x @ 150 Low Row 20x @ 90 10x @ 120 5x @ 130 5x @ 140 5x @ 150 SLDL 10x @ 135 5x @ 185 x2 sets 5x @ 205 Military Press I had the same plan for these as the other excersises...problem was that with only the warm up of 95 on the bar, I felt some clicking in both shoulders, more in the right side. Not sure what it was, but making any overhead pressing move, with or without the bar felt different...So I erred on the side of caution, and just stopped there. I got a bit of cardio by finishing mowing the lawn, about 60 minutes worth.. It was fairly cool out, so I didn't really work up that much of sweat.. Overall, I feel okay about the session. It's hard to deload, as I just want to push harder, but the break is a good thing I suppose..

No workout today.... Did some yard work..Cut up a few trees with my new chainsaw.. Still a piece of ****, or I suck at using a chainsaw. Probably both, seeing I don't cut stuff up to often. Went for 2 1/2 hours, made a good pile of logs to cure for later this year or next year.. 1 tree was pretty much already dead, so that will go the next bonfire in a couple of weeks..
Back is pretty sore from lifting a bunch of new computers at work that arrived yesterday and today.. Hopefully get some rest tonight. Tomorrow I plan on testing for flat bench and squat 1RM.. May take a stim pill to get a little boost..
