Deadlift: 502x2 Pull-Up and Hanging Pike* Superset: BWx12,11,10 each Concept Rower: 500 meters in 2:07 * This is performed like a leg raise, but the shins are brought up to the pull-up bar. 03.07.10 Squat: 345x5,4,3,2,1 Good Morning (no belt): 255x6,6,6 Hanging Pike: BWx10,10,10,10,7 Sauna: ~10 minutes 03.09.10 Bench Press (paused): 200x3,3,3 - I felt elbow pain during these work sets, most likely from yoke training during a strongman session on February 27th. I only feel it during bench workouts, not squat or dead. It's most likely lateral epicondylitis (inflammation of the outer elbow) which I had in the past and will hopefully be gone before my upcoming powerlifting meet on March 27th. Incline Dumbbell Press: 70*x7,5,3 - I failed the 6th and 4th reps of the respective 2nd and 3rd sets, both near the top. I'm not sure if my elbows were the reason and/or if it was because I hadn't done incline dumbbell press in a while. I also wanted to do a few sets of the Tate press for triceps, but it wouldn't have been a good idea due to the elbows. Concept Rower: 1000 meters in 4:52 Sauna: 10 minutes * each hand 03.11.10 Rack Pull: 530x3,2,1 Chin-Up (BW) and Standing Abs (150) Superset: 15,12,9 Concept Rower: 1000 meters in 4:25 Sauna: 15 minutes 03.14.10 Squat: 355x4,3,2,1 Good Morning: 265x5,5,5 Hanging Pike: BWx11,11,11,11 Concept Rower: 1500 meters in 7:00 Sauna: 15 minutes 03.16.10 Bench Press (paused): 205x1 and 225x1 - first and second attempts at my next meet on the 27th Concept Rower: 1000 meters in 4:15 Sauna: 10 minutes 03.18.10 Deadlift (+ hold at top): 480x1 - opener at the upcoming meet Concept Rower: 500 meters in 1:47 Sauna: ~8 minutes |
