Another light day on C&P, I wanted to try the bear today but my lower back is extremely sore to the point where it was difficult to get out of bed this morning. So I did some other stuff.
Dumbell press- single, single, double 60'sx7 reps each arm, 7 double arm reps x 7 sets superset with Hammer curls 35sx12 superset with ab roller x 10 reps each set Did all three exercises and then took about a minute long break, the rest should have been shorter but the bench work was much harder than expected. My back loosened up throughout the workout but I am sure it will tighten up in a little while. The intensity of the workout was good and I need a day off!! The bear will be done soon enough.

I think the heavy deads are gone for a while. I am going to do an experiment and eliminate deads for a while and work other pulls like powercleans and high pulls.
Then in about 2 months I plan to test my deadlift and see if this way of training will work to increase my deadlift without deadlifting. I am just happy it is the weekend, my back is not happy with me.

I want to comment about the ab wheel, it is the devil. My abs have never felt more worked, I can do sit ups until the sun comes up and this thing just crushed my entire midsection. It was very difficult but I can see how it could rip you up.
Also my pumps are better than they have ever been using these short rest periods for arms. Today my skin felt like it was going to tear and I do not use any sort of NO product, just caffeine prior to workouts. It is amazing I have veins coming out that I have never seen before, even when I was much leaner. So far I am loving the C&P program, except for this awful lower back soreness, which is my own fault.
