Tuesday Push/Pull
Powercleans 135x2x3 185x2 225x1 245x1 265x1 Did not hit a PR but it was much better than last week. Last week I struggled with 245 so this was a mental victory for me. Standing Strict OHP 115x5 135x3 155x1 PR 135x2x3 Yates Rows 205x2x8 235x2x6 285x2x4 PR, but these were too heavy form got ugly and I needed straps. Need to pick some up this week. Very good workout this morning and then a very busy day. A group of my friends and I went kayaking today, which is an amazing workout. We were mostly just floating down this creek, so our car was parked down the creek. Then it started to rain, and then it started to rain hard. So the last mile really sucked, but it was still fun. A story we will all remember. And the best part is that my buddy had to put his kayaks on his jeep, and he can not do that with the top on his jeep. So he had a very long, wet, cold ride home, lol

I think I am just going to get a cheap pair of straps, I only use them maybe once a week, so I do not think I need to get the versa gripps. Keeping it cheap.

I love 5/3/1!!!! Squats 5/3/1 Week 3 350x5 395x3 445x7 PR!!!!!! This was amazing, and felt awesome. My depth was probably not perfect on the last few but it was darn close to parallel on all the reps so I am satisfied. Half Squats from bottom position Singles x 315 405 455 tied all time PR Snatches Singles w/ 135x2 155x2 175x1 Ugly 155x1 135x1 Felt good on the snatches just trying to build explosive power for my deadlift Awesome workout today!! Squats were nuts!
