Hi, I noted the impressive lifting in here, and subbed. I noted a bit back that in addition to the 5/3/1 stuff you were doing half and quarter squats. Are you doing them in a rack with pins set? If not, how do you measure depth?
I've only sampled the log... are you still trying to incorporate any C&P principles in your training? BTW, I noted somewhere that you said you'd gone a long time without a squat PR, then set some with 5/3/1. I know how that goes. Kudos on your perseverance. May it continue to pay off. |

Max Effort Bench day, real easy day, I am going to take an extra day off this week because it is my grad party tomorrow so I am going to skip my workout. I could use the rest, my body has been feeling very sore lately. Easy day with the bench crew, and enjoyed some cold beers!
4 Board Press 245x12 335x6 355x4 375x2 385x2 405xMiss, crushed! 315x13, felt crazy light This is the first time I have ever done anything more than 2 boards, and feeling this heavy weight was awesome, there was no cheating, my butt stayed down on almost every rep Close Grip 4 board press, burnout 205x29, I wanted 30 but got crushed on the last one That is it, easy day, got good work in then left, gotta help set up for my party.
