Tried to work on form as best i could with deadlifts. Whereas before i would always push to absolute failure where i couldnt do another rep, lately i've been stopping the set when form doesnt feel great. Much prefer this, even if im not getting as many reps.
Front squat: 45kg 5×5 - felt heavier than it looked on video. But thats always the case. These dont hurt my knees, whereas with back squats its a lottery. Front squat: 50kg 5x5
Bench: 65kgx7 65x7 bench - YouTube 60kgx10 55kgx11 Barbell row: 62.5kg 5x5 Barbell curls: 20kg 3x12 All 3 sets of bench were rep PBs, beating previous PBs by 1 rep. The rows were a PB aswell. Great workout considering i was out drinking on both saturday and sunday night. Felt a bit sick during the squats but it went away enough to allow me to continue. |
