Back at it, went yesterday forgot to update, but little info. I tried how ripptoe said in the video, and i kinda got it, but I think I need to stretch out because I dont think my hammies aren't stretched out. Anyway tried the bench from his video, that went pretty well and I decided to try deadlifting for 5 reps and that went well. So think I have pretty good handle on everything but the squat yet, will continue to work on.
June 15th Squat 95x3x5 Bench 115x3x5 135x1x5<<< decided to try with ripptoe form and went well. Row 95x3x5 Curl 45x2x8 BB Static hold 155x3x30 seconds Side Bends 15x15 Situps 20 Note the deload, and I am going to go to gym tomorrow (Thursday) because I have to work til 11 Friday. |

Alright, Overhead Press went good and so did my deadlift. Just need to get my form down on that damn squat!!!

Yesssirr, but I think I might up the weight on the deadlift 20lbs because I could do that in my sleep. I might also up the weight a little more on the other lifts.
Just wanted to see how new form worked out so I deloaded. Hopefully tomorrow I can get to the gym because I have a 3 paper due by midnight tomorrow and I gotta work til 11. So i gotta get that paper done tonight hopefully. One note though I don't know what the hell I did to my wrist but I usually pop it (i know bad) but theres a little pain when I squeeze. Reviving from the dead. Been busy lately with work and I'm sure I will continue to be because two people just quit so more hours will be given to me.
I went to the gym Wednesday and I noticed a guy doing squats correctly, told him that I have been trying for monthes and cant get it down. So he told me to keep feet about shoulder width apart and that stuff. He told me look up and go. The only thing he told me that I needed to go deeper because I was stopping a little bit above parallel (he was doing ATG). So today I went he was there again, started with deadlift and I guess I need to sit down more because I was doing a Romanian deadlift. So he busted out a quick set of the way to do it. So I busted out a set of what he showed me and I felt it more in the hammies. He also told me to STRETCH hamstrings out before doing squats and deads so I can sit back more easily. Told me to go over to the roman chair and do that. He said he usually goes at around 5 but sometimes I don't get off til 6, but I am going to try to get there at 5 so I can have him judge my form Cliffs - need to stretch hamstrings before do squats and hammies June 23rd Box Squat 155x3x5 Bench 135x3x5 Row 100x3x5 Curl 55x2x8 Static Hold 185x3x25 seconds Side Bend 30x15 June 25th Deadlift 155x3x5 Overhead Press 80x3x5 Curl 60x2x8 Tricep Pushdown 90x3x8 Side Bend 35x15 Decline Sit ups 5lb plate x 15 |

LOST MY MOTIVATION HELP!!!
It has been forever since I last went to the gym it seems. Honestly I don't know what to do. I think I am getting fatter, because I fit these jeans perfectly about 3 monthes ago and now they don't fit in the waist anymore WTF!!!! I am mad as hell because I bought them as outfits. So I need to start losing some of this fat on my stomach. Anybody have any ideas on what to do? I think I am going to start eating very clean because I have been eating TERRIBLE the last couple weeks! I feel bad because I haven't even hit the gym in a while! I am losing motivation because all it seems is that my waist size is going up and none of my lifts are going up. I am though considering buying a power rack and some weights so I don't have any excuses to miss the gym and can workout anytime I want! I really feel like crap and hopefuly I can get back on track. Due to my busy work schedule since 2 people quit. What are some good ab exercises to do to get me back down to my 32 inch waist?!? |
