WHY??!!! Because i can
New log for me to keep a few #'s about whilst i get ready to hopefully compete at a UPA meet this june. My goal is to pull 550 in this meet. Hopefully at 198 but if i have to jump up to 220 so be it. Currently i'm gonna work a pyramid for 12 weeks so i had backed off the #'s slightly to try to get a build up to the end of may so i can take a short breather to then build up to the middle of june. May or may not do a full meet we'll see how that goes but for the most part i wanna build that pull cuz my ultimate goal is to pull in the 600's raw at 198. I'm sure my bench would be in the low 3's and my squat in the mid 4's. So......LET'S DO DIS!!!!
Current weight 199 and some change. Monday's bench work.....
135x5 135x10 225x5 225x8 275x5 275x5 300x5 300x8 i was just tryin somethin here. each time i touch a specific weight it always feels lighter when i hit it the second time around so i tried not to get too many reps on the first set and pushed the second a little harder. seem to work for me......and my chesticles are really sore today not that it means anything to be sore but i like it. Speed bench w/green bands 135x12 135x12 135x12 slow down and explode as fast as possible. i really like these but haven't done them much so i might make them a staple for my bench workout. usually i have always done reverse bands and pushed some heavier weight or used boards but i believe this will help increase my #'s a little better. |

Ya i know its in the low 3's but has been there for like 2 yrs and if i can just maintain that and a mid 4's squat i can have a 1300+ raw total at 198 |
Some extra mashed potatos and nacho cheese every day and you can have a 1400 total in the 220s.

But he cant end up like me with a 1,000 total at 275... Nice lifting J,smash it!
