I'll probably do some "playing" with weights for another week or so, higher reps and a few things I normally would pass up with shortened rests, then go back to a solid PL routine. Trying to decide what might be my next logical step.

I'll post up the squat vid in the challenge thread. Not the most so far, and I thought I could do more, but I suppose it's a decent attempt.

Nothing so far. A little tightness in the legs, but nothing I wouldn't get from traversing too many stairs in one day.

Deadlift 135x5 225x5 315x5 335x3 355x3 365x1 375x1 DB rows 75x5 85x5 95x5 110x5 DB curls 35x6 40x6 45x5 50x6 Shrugs 135x5x10 225x10 315x3x5 Pull-ups BWx5x6 DB Farmers carry 110x20mx3 All in all a good workout. Strange occurrence, normally the pumped up feeling fades fairly quickly after a workout. It's been almost 8 hours and my traps still feel pumped. Not sure if it was the volume, but if so, sign me up for a little more volume work once in a while. Timing worked out pretty well, tomorrow is a rest day, and it's also the day where I won't have much sleep because I'm getting up at an ungodly hour to watch the GSP v Diaz fight. Being this far off of American time zones sucks. Looking forward to lifting again on Monday already!

Squats 45x6 135x6 225x5 275x3 325x7 325x5 325x4 RDL 135x5 225x8 225x7 Leg Press 300x15 300x14 300x12 300x11 300x10 Leg curls 100x18 100x16 100x16 100x14 Decline weighted situps 25x25 25x25 Barbell Calf Raises 405x15 405x15 405x12 I started the post-beginner rep goal routine recommended to me by BtB today. I love the concept, can't wait to see what sort of gains I can squeeze out of it. Definitely was not feeling on my game today. I struggled hard on the squats, especially that very last rep. The bar actually started going back down on me twice. It took every ounce of my will to keep pressing it back up. Next squat day I'll try 320 to see if I can complete the reps before trying 325 again. This week will show me where I should be starting weight wise. Lower back was feeling pretty wasted by the time I got to RDL. I really feel like I should have been able to do a LOT more than that. By the time I got to situps and calf raises I was feeling pretty good, but I was dripping with sweat, and had chugged down two bottles of water. Might start documenting my water intake to see if I'm drinking enough.

Deadlift 135x6 225x5 315x5 355x3 375x1 390x1 405x1 410x1 Cable Crunches 150x20 150x15 150x10 150x10 Shrugs 135x10 225x10 245x10 255x10 265x10 Calf Raises 315x12 315x12 315x12 315x10 Today was one of those days where you grab ahold of the bar, and just get s#!^ done. I swear the bar wanted deadlifted as much as I wanted to pull it. I was just 2.5s away from ending my workset on my personal best, and the bar was moving fast, fast enough I suspect there might have been a PR in there. No lower back soreness afterwards, leading me to believe I was doing it "more correctly" than normal. Everything else went better than expected as well, but deadlift was a smashing success. I'm really looking forward to next weeks DL session to see if I can go 5lbs more.
