Squats 45x5x2 105x5 160x3 215x2 270x5x3 Bench Press 45x5x2 125x5 175x3 225x2 255x5x3 Deadlift 115x5x2 175x3 250x2 295x5 I really screwed the pooch on the deadlift today. I would go as far as to say I don't deserve any gains from the pulls I did today. I got an SOS from the office to come back immediately, but I was just setting up the bar. I went ahead and rushed through my deads. Piss poor form, more of a good morning/RDL right from the start. Only enough rest between sets to add weight to the bar. Work set was terrible, and I walked out of there with my spinal erectors doing hula hoops around my spine. Tomorrow is the rest day. I also accidentally jumped 10lbs instead of 5lbs on the bench today. It worked out though. I really felt like I smashed the 260x5x3. I'm REALLY stoked to get to the end of the cycle to see if I'm ready for that 300 bench. I'm closer to that than the 400 squat for sure. Hell, at this rate, I might make it to a raw 350 bench before a 400 squat. Kinda crazy.

You look darn close to a 300 bench press. Get it.

2/12/13
Squat 45x5x2 110x5 165x3 220x2 275x5x2 275x10 That's definitely a PR. I've lifted more than the 1RM that suggests, but never repped out that much. I went ahead with the Power Clean + OHP combo. It worked well. 45x5x2 75x5 100x3 120x2 145x5x3 Strict Chins, focus on squeezing the back hard as f#$% during the full ROM. BWx8 BWx8 BWx8 Out of the gym in 35 minutes. That's gotta be a PR as well. At least for a completed workout. The combo lift was difficult, but repeatable any day of the week. The very last rep was tough, and form may have been slightly less than ideal, but no body english. I hope I can smash deadlift like this day after tomorrow. I need a mental boost on my deads, they feel stagnant.

Thanks everyone. I'm feeling pretty good today too! I hit the snooze a few times from staying up too late too many nights in a row. Tonight will be a good sleep night, I hope. No real "pre-DOMS" tightness or ache. I'm itching to get back in and lift tomorrow. I had high hopes for Starting Strength, and it's not letting me down so far 1/4 of the way through.

Yesterday's mental boost is still going strong. All I want to do right now is go try to smash more PRs. Recovery days suck
